Once your account is fully set up, you can log in and set up a book, at which point, you’ll enter all of the relevant information about your title. You can visit this link to access our Title Set Up article for details on what kind of information you’ll need to provide about your book, including basic book info like title, description, and author bio, and more complex information such as pricing, returns, and wholesale discounts.
If you are an author and don't own a business and are not sure what to use for a publishing company name, this information may be of help to you. When you set up your IngramSpark account and use your legal name (needs to match your bank account for deposits) and set up a new title, you have the option to add an imprint to be used as the publishing company name for the title. However, Barnes and Noble and other retailers may not recognize the imprint and list your account name as the publisher. If this happens, you can notify the support team and they will try to help correct this, but there are no guarantees the retailer will change it.
Print distribution: Your print book will be available to over 40,000 retailers in-person and online, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and independent bookstores and libraries worldwide. You will need an ISBN and provide pricing for each market you would like your book sold. During the title setup process, if you reside in the United States or Canada IngramSpark can provide a free ISBN (you would not own the ISBN) or you can purchase an ISBN which you will own.
Ebook distribution: Your ebook can be distributed to every major e-reader or mobile device with CoreSource. CoreSource is a proven, secure system that allows your content to flow swiftly and safely from IngramSpark to various distribution and retail partners around the world. Since starting in 2011, CoreSource is used by 25% of the world’s top 50 publishers.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT EBOOKS:
*If you have provided any ebooks to Amazon for the Kindle in the past 12 months we will not be able to provide service to Kindle through the IngramSpark program.
**If you currently have ebook content available on Apple, you will need to remove those ebooks from the iBook store prior to uploading those same titles into IngramSpark. Also, note that any reviews or ratings of that content will not transfer when your titles reappear in the iBook store.
CONVERSION SERVICE & FEE
IngramSpark can convert your print PDF to an EPUB file for $.60 cents per page. Click here to learn more.
Print sales: You will be paid compensation earnings (some refer to this as royalties) for print books sold through our distribution network, based on the retail price minus the wholesale discount you offer, minus the print price of the book you choose to publish. Your sales are registered on the print sales report in your IngramSpark account when the book leaves our print facility, and you receive payment approximately 90 days after the month in which the books were sold. Returns can have a negative impact on compensation earnings. Click here to learn more about pricing your book and how compensation earnings and returns are calculated.
Use our publisher compensation calculator to better understand what you’ll earn for each print book you sell through the global distribution channels.
