Changes in Print Cost, Market Access Fee, and More

Effective February 1, 2026, IngramSpark will adjust print-on-demand pricing.

What this means for you:

• Pricing adjustments will result in some books costing more to print, while others will cost less. View our complete pricing and services guide, including any available discounts here. 
• Books enabled for distribution gain access to our global distribution network of over 45,000 retailers, librarians, universities and educators and are assessed a 1.875% market access fee.
• Revisions are FREE. We removed revision fees for all books effective February 1, 2026.

• FREE title setup. Upload your books for FREE.
• Discounts are available on books you purchase from us directly. Start saving when you print as few as 100 books. Eligible discounts will automatically apply - no promo code needed.

FAQs

How can I tell if my print cost is changing?

Depending your book’s manufacturing specifications (bind type, trim size, etc), the cost may be increasing or decreasing. We recommend using our online calculators to determine how your book’s print cost will be impacted.

Do I need to change my book's list price to accommodate the change in print cost?

Whether or not you decide to change your list price is up to you. We recommend using our publisher compensation calculator to see your current compensation and what your new compensation will be after February 1, 2026. 

Can I upload a revised cover for free if I am changing my book's list price?

Good news - free revisions are coming soon! Effective February 1st, file revisions will be FREE for all IngramSpark customers.  

Are there any other changes happening at IngramSpark?

We will be launching a Metadata Assistant and Cover Generator tool to a select group of beta testers in early 2026. These resources are designed to help you optimize your metadata with confidence and give you access to professional quality cover design (for free!).
