What Other Options Are Available for Creating Files?

IngramSpark accepts print-ready digital files that meet Lightning Source's file requirements for printing. IngramSpark does not design files, however, you can create the files we need to print from with our free Book-Building Tool in your IngramSpark account, or you can visit our Experts list on our website here and locate a designer and other professionals to assist you.

NOTE: IngramSpark cannot manipulate or edit files. If edits need to be made, you will need to make the changes to the file and then upload the files through your IngramSpark account as a revision. You can use the Book-Building Tool to edit a word document and then upload it to your IngramSpark account.

Design your own book cover and interior using IngramSpark’s FREE Book-Building Tool to create files that meet IngramSpark’s requirements.. Type your manuscript directly into the tool or upload and edit your existing Microsoft Word manuscript. We recommend saving a backup copy of the edited files.

When creating a new title in your IngramSpark account when asked “Do you have files ready to upload,” select “No, I need to create my files.” This will provide the option to “Use IngramSpark’s Book-Building Tool.” Click the button and agree to the terms of use to use the tool to create your files.
