Google Display Ad Checklist
Before you begin to set up your Google Display ad in the Verified Reader Advertising Platform, be sure you have all the needed items, so setup is easy!
- The EAN(s)of the book(s) you are advertising.
- Select Audiences that are relevant to your product. See the list below.
- At least one strong headline of no more than 30 characters.
(It’s more effective to also have two alternate headlines.) - Descriptive text of no more than 90 characters.
(It’s more effective to also have one alternate description.) - Keywords that you believe your customers would use to search for a product similar to yours. If you are advertising a title in our database, we'll make recommendations for you--and you can add your own keywords.
- Landscape Image(s)
Upload 1 or more high-quality image(s) of your own, or insert the cover (already on the platform). Keep in mind that the minimum size for this image type is 600 x 314. - Square Image(s)
Upload 1 or more high-quality image(s) of your own, or insert the cover (already on the platform) cropped to a square. Keep in mind that the minimum size for this image type is 300 x 300. - Business Logo This image is not required
Upload a high-quality image of your company logo. Keep in mind that the minimum sizes for this image type are 128 x 128(square) and 512 x 128(landscape). - Headline(s) No more than 30 characters
Get creative and enter several versions. Think of what your target audience might be used as a search term, and use those words in your headlines. If you provide more than one, Google will automatically use the one that performs best. - Long Headline No more than 90 characters
Enter the one long headline that best explains why the customer would want to know more. - Descriptions(s)No more than 90 characters

The URL or the website or page where you are directing the customer when they ‘click’ on the ad. Note: Include the full URL, including http://www or https://www.
