When will my order ship? What is the print turnaround time (TAT)? What is the print service level?
You can find the current print service level, which is the same as the print turnaround time, in the Important Business Updates section on the home page of your IngramSpark account.
Factors such as when you submit the order, holidays, weekends and on rare occasions the weather can all play a role in determining when your order will print and ship.
Orders placed by 3pm Central time typically begin printing the following business day. Orders received after 3pm on a business day or anytime on the weekend will begin printing the second to next business day.
Below is a calendar showing how to calculate when your order will ship based on a 10-day print service level. Print service levels are estimates and may be shorter or longer than this example.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
We recommend you order a copy of your book before you place a large order to ensure your book prints as you expected.
With Print On Demand (POD) digital printing and manufacturing it is acceptable to have a 1/16 inch or 2 mm shift of text and images on the cover and interior pages as well as slight color variations from book to book.
Because books are manufactured one at a time (one-off) no two books may look exactly alike, even when printed within the same order.
If you submit an order and upload a new/revised file before the order starts printing this can cause delays in printing your book, due to the file processing time involved.
If you need to make a revision to your book file, you will upload a new/revised file. After the uploaded file has been processed and the eproof is available, make sure you approve the eproof. The order will not start printing until you approve the eproof and the title is available for printing.
If you submit an order and upload a new/revised file before the order starts printing this can cause delays in printing your book, due to the file processing time involved.
Before placing an order make sure the status of the title is "Title Available". See the image below.
