Understanding IngramSpark's Distribution Model
IngramSpark offers global distribution for both print books and eBooks, providing wide accessibility for independent authors. However, for print distribution, the system operates on an "all or nothing" basis, meaning you cannot selectively remove Amazon while keeping other print distribution channels active.
How to Remove Amazon from eBook Distribution Only
eBook distribution agreements are handled separately, so you can withdraw your eBook from Amazon without affecting other eBook retailers.
These settings cannot be edited directly through your IngramSpark account. You will need to contact us to remove your IngramSpark Amazon eBook agreement:
- Contact us using the email address registered to your IngramSpark account.
- In your message, clearly specify the ISBN(s) and advise that you wish to remove the Amazon eBook addendum.
- Wait for confirmation from the support team that your request has been received and has been processed.
Summary
- There is no Amazon opt-out for print books.
- You can opt out of Amazon for eBooks by following the Amazon Removal steps above.
