Understanding IngramSpark's Distribution Model
IngramSpark offers global distribution for both print books and eBooks, providing wide accessibility for independent authors. However, for print distribution, the system operates on an "all or nothing" basis, meaning you cannot selectively remove Amazon while keeping other print distribution channels active; you must remove the title from distribution completely.
How to Remove Amazon from eBook Distribution Only.
eBook distribution agreements are handled separately, so you can withdraw your eBook from Amazon without affecting other eBook retailers.
These settings cannot be edited directly through your IngramSpark account. You will need to contact us to remove your IngramSpark Amazon eBook agreement:
- Contact us using the email address registered to your IngramSpark account.
- In your message, clearly specify the ISBN(s) and advise that you wish to remove the Amazon eBook addendum.
- Wait for confirmation from the support team that your request has been received and has been processed.
Summary
- Print distribution removal disables all print channels, including Amazon.
- eBook distribution allows selective withdrawal from Amazon.
- Author copies remain available even if print distribution is disabled.
