How to Add a Cover Image in the Book-Building Tool

Cover images need to be a maximum quality JPG or PNG, or a PDF (300 ppi), and under 10 Mb.

Go to the Uploads  tab on the left and select Images to upload a JPG/PNG.

Select the PDF tab on the right to upload a PDF.

Select Inset or Background.

Inset will place the image on the selected area (Full Cover, Front Cover, Back Cover or Spine) with handles on the corner to increase or decrease the size.
Note: Increasing the image size will lower the resolution and possibly the print quality. 

Background will automatically fit the cover image in the selected area (front cover, back cover, spine, or full background)

Note: If the image does not fit properly, the original image will need to be adjusted to meet cover requirements, or add it as an inset image and adjust as needed.
