Creating a New Title

Please read in entirety before setting up a new title.

1. To create a new title, choose the Titles/Add Title option on the left side of the screen.
2. Select one of the Print/Ebook options (You can always create one format now and another at a later date, especially if you’d like to have differences between the formats)
   • Print & Ebook
   • Print Book only
   • Ebook only
     • NOTE: If you choose to create an ebook, it will be sent to retailers/channels immediately after submission

If you choose Print & Ebook,follow these steps:

• Under ‘Do you have files ready to upload?’
  • If you’ve already prepared print PDFs and an EPUB file, choose 'Yes, all my files are ready'. This allows you to begin a simplified upload process.
  • If you don’t already have prepared files, choose 'No, I would like to see the available options for creating files.’
• If you’ve chosen to begin the upload process
  • Select the appropriate check boxes showing that your files are properly formatted
  • Then, choose Print, distribute, and sell book
  • Click Continue and enter the required information (noted by a red asterisk)
• If you’ve chosen to use the Book-Building Tool to create your files:
  • Click Continue and enter the required information (noted by a red asterisk)
  • Then, click on the Build Your Book button to enter the Book-Building Tool

If you choose Print Book Only,follow these steps:

• Under ‘Do you have files ready to upload?’
  • If you’ve already prepared print PDFs and an EPUB file, choose ‘Yes, all my files are ready.’ This allows you to begin a simplified upload process.
  • If you don’t already have prepared files, choose ‘No, I would like to see the available options for creating files.’
• If you’ve chosen to begin the upload process:
  • Select the appropriate check boxes showing that your files are properly formatted
  • Then, select one of the two options below:
    • Choose Print, distribute, and sell book if you only want to print copies for your personal use
    • Choose Only print book if you’d like to distribute your book to retailers/channels
• If you’ve chosen to create your files, choose one of the following Book-Building options:
  • Choose Print, distribute, and sell book if you only want to print copies for your personal use
    • Click Continue and enter the required information (noted by a red asterisk)
    • Then, click on the Build Your Book button to enter the Book-Building tool
  • Choose Only print book if you’d like to distribute your book to retailers/channels
    • Click Continue and enter the required information (noted by a red asterisk)
    • Then, click on the Build Your Book button to enter the Book-Building Tool
• If you’ve chosen instead to hire an expert for help, choose 'Hire Industry Experts' to be taken to IngramSpark’s list of self-publishing experts to find the right choice for you

If you choose Ebook Only,follow these steps:

• Under ‘Do you have files ready to upload?’
  • If you’ve already prepared print PDFs and an EPUB file, choose ‘Yes, all my files are ready.’ This allows you to begin a simplified upload process.
  • If you don’t already have prepared files, choose ‘No, I would like to see the available options for creating files.’
• If you’ve chosen to begin the upload process:
  • Select the appropriate check boxes showing that your files are properly formatted
  • Then, choose Distribute and Sell Book
  • Click Continue and enter the required information (noted by a red asterisk)
• If you’ve chosen to create your files:
  • Choose Distribute and Sell
  • Click Continue and enter the required information (noted by a red asterisk)
  • Then, click on the Build Your Book button to enter the Book-Building Tool
• If you’ve chosen instead to hire an expert for help, choose Hire industry experts to be taken to IngramSpark’s list of self-publishing experts to find the right choice for you
