Creating a New Title

Please read in entirety before setting up a new title.

1. To create a new title, choose the Titles/Add Title option on the left side of the screen
2. Select one of the Print/Ebook options (You can always create one format now and another at a later date, especially if you’d like to have differences between the formats)
   • Print & Ebook
     • NOTE: If you are uploading a PDF interior file you will be required to upload an EPUB file for your ebook. Only Word files can be converted to EPUB files in the Book-Building Tool
   • Print Book only
   • Ebook only
     • NOTE: If you choose to create an ebook, it will be sent to retailers/channels immediately after you submit files
3. Under “Do you have files ready to upload?”
   • • • If you’ve already prepared print PDFs and an EPUB file, choose “Yes, all my files are ready.” This allows you to begin a simplified upload process
       • If you don’t already have prepared files, choose “No, I would like to see the available options for creating files.”
         • Select one of the two options on the left to use the Book-Building Tool to create your files 
           • If you only want to print copies for your personal use, select "print only"
           • If you would like to distribute your book to retailers/channels select "Print, Distribute and Sell"
4. If you’ve chosen to use the Book-Building Tool to create your files:
   • • Click "Continue" and enter the required information (noted by a red asterisk)
     • Then, click on the "Build Your Book" button to enter the Book-Building Tool
     • Enter your book choices and then select "Proceed to interior design" to upload a Word or PDF file. If you choose to type directly in the tool, we recommend saving a backup copy on your computer of all the edits.
5. If you’ve chosen instead to hire an expert for help, choose "Hire industry experts" to be taken to IngramSpark’s list of self-publishing experts to find the right choice for you
