Final interior PDF made from full-color PDFs

    I don't understand the "InDesign file that uses PDFs of color illustrations", but I can tell that jpg files can't be saved with cmyk.

    Oh!

    Well, that might work, BUT IS state, they demand cmyk tiff and 300dpi (300 pixels per inch shown).

    You can try it out, and if it doesn't work, you can open the pdf file, copy the image into Photoshop and save it as a cmyk tiff. Then re-link so the tiff replaces the pdf.

    I guess it works, if the picture in the pdf is from a cmyk tiff.

    I believe the illustrator provided only PDFs to the person who built the InDesign file, but I can't say what the illustrator used to make the PDFs. Thanks for your help!
