How Am I Figuring Out Page Count?

If the 6x9 template is for the interior of the book, you must copy the text in your Word document to the template to get the exact page count. You can download (a temporary) cover template to work with, and when you know the exact number of pages, you just download a new cover template if the page count differs and then copy the contents of the first cover template into the new.

I may have misunderstood your question.

Kind of. I wanted to know if the page count in Word would be accurate, since the pages will be printed back to back. So Word's page count of 170...is that the number I enter? Or do I enter 85, since that would be the count with each page back to back?

It may be a silly question. I just needed to be sure because I've already had to redo my files once.

The page count (170) is the one you will enter, not the sheet count. That is why the page count must be an even number.

I hope that helps you, or just ask again.
