An artist and I are creating a hardcover, Halloween, illustrated book. We want it to be Portrait-oriented, 8 1/2 x 11, approximately sixteen front-to-back pages (at most, 32 total pages). The artist is a watercolor artist, and he wants to do his work on canvas, using just the colors orange and black. In painting each spread, he will take into account the gutter in the book. He then will take pictures of each canvas in order to download these pictures into a program to transfer to IngramSpark.
I, as the writer, have already written the text.
What is the best way to go about this? Should we do all of this on Adobe Acrobat 6 or higher, or Microsoft Word: PDF?
Place the text first, and then drag the pics of the canvases?
When he takes digital photographs of his canvases, what are the best settings for his camera?
Thanks for any help out there!
