I started up with Lightning Source but moved to IngramSpark. I also moved my titles from printondemand-worldwide.com to IS. Last year (2019) I made a quick checkup, if I should use my LS account and publish from there, but I still prefer IngramSpark. I have 24 titles as print AND ebook.

Often there is free title setup or free file updates. Right now there is both until March 31 with NANO2020.

    Erik,

Thanks for the response. Can you share anything about why you prefer IngramSpark over Lightning Source?

In short: Lower setup fee, e-book publishing/distribution, no global distribution fee, lower revision fee, very friendly and helpful support (I don't remember LS's support).

    Erik,

Thanks; very helpful. It sounds like there's no reason to mess with a good thing by trying out LS.

PS Membership in ALli is $100/year, with free IS setup and changes. That's equal to two (e and print) titles/year, so well worth it, in my view. Saves looking for promo codes.
