    Hi Ann,

For your book to be eligible for the proof stage, you must have approved your digital proof. Log into your account, click on "Titles" in the top menu, click on "Titles Pending Your Approval". If your title is there, click on that and approve. Your options will be:

1 - Ann approves this title for production and inclusion in to the Print on Demand wholesale distribution channels.
2 - Ann approves this title without inclusion in to the Print on Demand wholesale distribution channels, meaning only Ann is able to order. If required, Print on Demand wholesale distribution can be enabled at a later time. (THIS IS PROBABLY THE OPTION YOU'LL WANT TO CHOOSE)
3 - Ann does not approve this title. Select a reason from the list below:
    - Ann has revised content to upload.
    - Ann rejects the proof and requests further review. Please provide your rejection notes in the box below.

Then, click on yellow "Continue" button.

Once you as the publisher accept the proof, soon after your book will be available for printing at which point you can click on the "Orders" tab top menu. Then click on "Create New Order".

How long will be take to get into the market?

You need to first approve the book, then you must enable distribution. Once you enable distribution, your book will get distributed within the marketplace as soon as 2 days (on Amazon and/or B&N) but could potentially take up to 6 weeks (that's worse case scenario).

I hope you find this helpful.

    Eric

Eric, I am POD publishing on both Amazon & IngramSpark for international bookstore & library markets...how do I make sure their markets don't overlap? What distribution options do I choose and where do I find them?

    Hey Ann,

They will not overlap. As long as you DON'T enable "Expanded Distribution" via Createspace/KDP, all and/or most sales that originate on Amazon will be fulfilled by Amazon, all other distribution/fulfillment will be handled by Ingram. Take a look at my article here: http://ericvanderhope.com/the-most-effective-method-to-self-publish-while-getting-the-best-distribution/

I hope you find this helpful/beneficial.
