    You can order copies at any time once you approve your digital proof. They  don't have any markings to differentiate them from the final product. You should set a future publication date in order to get a print copy before the book can be purchased by the public.

    My new titles appear on Amazon and about two days after I publish, regardless of the publication date I set. Again, setting a future date is a good idea as this allows for pre-orders. Some retailer websites can take longer than a few days, but I don't know of any that truly takes 6-8 weeks.
