How do I remove my book from websites? Send an email to the IngramSpark Support team and include your account number and ISBN of the titles you want removed from distribution. The titles will continue to appear on your IngramSpark account, but the status will show as cancelled. No books will be printed from the moment the title is cancelled.
To completely remove a title (or a previous version of that title) from a website is a difficult, if not impossible, task to accomplish. Retailers purchase and retain copies of a title and will continue to show availability as long as they have inventory available for sale for that title. Even if the retailer sells out of the inventory, the title may continue to be listed on their website, permanently. In the case of an online retailer such as Amazon.com, who allows third-party sellers to set up virtual "stores" on the Amazon site, this is nearly impossible. These sellers may have new or used copies of the book and will show availability as long as they have inventory.
Once the on-hand inventory of a title is depleted, at least at the retailer level, the title should then appear as "title unavailable" on their website. If there is a new version of the same title, this new version should generate the first "hit" in the title search within that website. However, any used copies for the original version of that title may continue to show as available for purchase through third-party sellers on Amazon.
**If your title is canceled by the IngramSpark Support team, IngramSpark will not fulfill any new orders from the moment the title is cancelled.
